Failing Relationships

Visit this site to hear a view on failure in relationships.
Almost everyone has dealt with a break-up of some sort in their life, whether it be with a boyfriend or girlfriend, or a family member or friend. And if they haven't, it's coming for them. Break-ups seem to be the end of the world when you're going through them. But after a while, you learn to move on from that person and and have a new start, at least hopefully. When going through a break-up, try to think about the positives. Maybe your boyfriend had smelly socks; you won't have to smell those anymore! Or maybe your best friend used to always steal your clothes without asking; you will get to keep the cutest things you have now! Not only will you benefit from a materialistic view, but also on a deeper level. Take what you have learned from this past relationship and use it! Now you know better what to look for when choosing to trust a person that will be so involved in your life. Take all of the things that went wrong in your relationship and make them right in the next one. Now you know the red flags for when something not-so-good is about to happen! Take all of that failure in your newly, or not so newly, over relationship and use it to make you stronger as a whole! Go get 'em!

  1. Good job making failure look positive... I can apply this to many of my failed friendships. It really helps ease the pain.

  2. This is exactly what I do, because I don't like things to bring me down. Way to make failure have a positive aspect instead of a negative one.

  3. I like looking at failure this way. You make a list of your mistakes and then you try not to repeat them again.

  4. This makes loads of sense, it does seem like you hit rock bottom and some people do hit rock bottom. I found out that given time that the failed relationship either taught me something or I realized that I was glad it ended because the girl ended up not being who they appeared to be.
